Celebrate Father’s Day with these Delicious Outings
Dads don’t seem to get the same fanfare that moms get. Mother’s Day is the busiest day of the year in most restaurants around the country. For Father’s Day, on the other hand, you may hear crickets. I hope you found several options from this list to celebrate Father’s Day not just on Sunday but throughout the week. If you’re familiar with my Top 9 lists you know that the reason I select nine is because a Top 10 list seems too final. Instead, I like to keep that 10th spot open for your recommendations. If dad really does want to stay home and grill on Sunday, then make sure you do it right. Host a “Beer & Sausage Tasting” with a variety of sausages and beers (my family tradition for the past 8 years), set up a “Burger Sampler BBQ” with various types of patties (Buffalo, Ostrich, and Bison are all awesome) and toppings or have a “Hot Dog’s from around the world” buffet. If he likes to hover over the grill, let him. After all, dad’s most precious gift is the time you spend with him, being there in the moment, enjoying whatever crazy, lazy, funny, classy, or kooky activity he enjoys. Cheers to dad and to creating great memories sharing a delicious meal!
