Discover Oregon Wine Country Without Leaving Orlando: Sip + Savor Oregon Tasting Event

By Christina Thomas Leave a Comment

Transport your senses to America’s most celebrated wine region right here in Orlando

Experience the World’s Top Wine Destination for 2025!

We have exciting news for Orlando wine enthusiasts! In celebration of Oregon Wine Month this May, I have partnered with talented sommelier Mellisa J. McAvoy of Swirlery Wine Bar to invite you to an exclusive tasting event that will whisk you away to the lush landscapes of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, recently crowned The World’s Top Wine Destination for 2025 by VinePair.

“Sip + Savor Oregon…in Orlando” is bringing the Pacific Northwest to Central Florida for one special evening. On Thursday, May 15th at 6:00 PM, Swirlery Wine Bar will transform into an Oregon wine country haven where you can indulge all five senses through a carefully curated selection of Oregon’s finest offerings.

A Full Sensory Journey Through Oregon Wine Country

This isn’t just another wine tasting, it’s an immersive experience designed to engage all your senses:

  • TASTE: Award-winning wines from Oregon’s celebrated Willamette Valley region
  • SMELL: Aromatic notes from complex Pinot Noirs and crisp Chardonnays
  • TOUCH: Velvety textures of artisanal Oregon cheeses paired perfectly with each pour
  • SEE: Rich, jewel-toned colors of premium Oregon wines and olive oils
  • HEAR: Stories of Oregon’s passionate winemakers and their sustainable practices, plus insider Oregon wine country travel tips

“Sip + Savor Oregon is more than just a wine tasting, it’s a full sensory journey featuring some of my favorite Oregon wines and inspired treats,” says Christina Thomas, publisher of Go Epicurista, Orlando food and travel content creator, and native Oregonian. “I’m so excited to partner with talented sommelier Mellissa J. McAvoy of Swirlery Wine Bar for this unique tasting event. From the moment guests arrive, they’ll be immersed in the sights, sounds, aromas, flavors, and textures that make Oregon wine country so special. Plus, I have a few special surprises to virtually transport you to the Willamette Valley!”

Oregon-Inspired Culinary Delights

Your taste buds are in for a treat! Complementing the exceptional wine selection by Melissa J. McAvoy will be a spread of Oregon-inspired delicacies, including:

  • Artisanal cheeses selected to enhance the wine tasting experience
  • Locally-produced, award-winning olive oils

Each guest will also receive a $5 coupon toward wine purchases at Swirlery Wine Bar, perfect for taking home your new favorite Oregon discovery.
