I’m a snacker while I work, which involves long hours at my laptop writing and editing photos or being on the go. I like to keep it light and easy with snacks that are great as-is and travel well. Nuts, fresh fruit and yogurt are my faves but I never sacrifice flavor. After all, that’s where my inspiration comes from.

Traveling for food and through food is my passion. Exploring new flavors, finding new dishes and drinks to add to my “Must Eat” and “Must Drink” list, and sharing with friends is what Go Epicurista is all about.

I’m reviewing thousands of photos from my recent trip to Italy and I can’t wait to go back. It truly was a trip of a lifetime. I expected to be fascinated by the ruins and historic buildings, The Vatican, the Fontana di Trevi, the Coliseum. The food was no doubt my favorite part. I ate gelato and drank cappucinos every chance I got.

One little fact that surprised me the vast amount of citrus trees, oranges and lemons seen everywhere along the Amalfi Coast. The vibrant citrus flavors and scents are found in everything from soaps to gelato to liqueurs. The intense aroma and flavor of Blood Oranges best-develops on the shores of the Mediterranean. I was so pleased to learn that’s where Liberté went to find the fruit they use in this creamy, whole milk yogurt making it a great snack to bring back those flavor memories.  Travel through food indeed.
